YEREVAN, MAY 10, ARMENPRESS. Forum will be held in Yerevan on May 17 with participation of organic agricultural product producing SMEs and other interested persons.

The forum-discussion has been initiated within the frames of “Development of Organic Agriculture” program which is jointly implemented by ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK and Germany’s Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU), the Bank told Armenpress.

A professor from Germany Ştefan Dreesman will introduce the forum participants on the key stages of production of organic products, the international experience, the prospects of realization of organic products in the European market and the development of organic agriculture in Armenia and will answer their issues of concern.

In addition, seminar-discussions will be held on May 18-20 in Vayots Dzor and Syunik provinces for farmers supplying an organic raw material to the SMEs.
