80% of voters to take part in Armenia’s upcoming parliamentary election - poll
YEREVAN, MARCH 28, ARMENPRESS. Based on the survey results conducted by the Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM), 80% of voters will take part in Armenia’s upcoming parliamentary election, reports Armenpress.
Valery Fedorov, VCIOM General Director, said 4% of survey participants ruled out their participation in the election. “85% of the respondents are aware of the April 2 parliamentary election. 2% said they hear about it for the first time”, he said.
Valery Fedorov said 89% thinks that Tsarukyan alliance will overcome the minimum threshold in the election and will have seats in the Parliament. “86% of respondents voted in favor of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA). The ARF is in the third place, with 29%”, Fedorov said.
The survey was conducted by VCIOM in Armenia from March 17 to 24, 2017 by the order of Shant TV. 1600 people took part in the survey. It was conducted face to face.
