YEREVAN, MARCH 24, ARMENPRESS. Based on the request of Artistic unions, the City Hall of Yerevan made a decision on defining privileges in terms of property tax in its first annual session.

President of Armenia’s Union of Writers Edward Militonyan told ARMENPRESS the maintenance of the unions’ buildings in a rather difficult and expensive process. “This was a great assistance for us, taking into account the fact that our buildings have monumental significance, and the union doesn’t have that much possibility to maintain them”, he said.

President of the Union of Painters Karen Aghamyan was also excited about the new property tax privilege. He thanked the City Hall for assistance.
