Highway condition update: Clear ice caution for Goris, Kapan and Talin highways
11:01, 18 February 2017YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 18, ARMENPRESS. The ministry of transportation, communication and IT said as of 09:30 the highways of Goris, Kapan and Talin and the Vardenyats Pass are partly covered in clear ice.
The ministry told ARMENPRESS the Berd-Tchambarak highway has been shut down because of a snowstorm.
Highway maintenance agencies are carrying out 24/7 supervision along the highways.
Clearing and snow removal operations are underway.
All other highways and roads of interstate and republican significance are open.
