YEREVAN, JANUARY 16, ARMENPRESS. The trials of the murder of Istanbul-Armenian reporter Hrant Dink start on January 16 in Istanbul, Agos reports.

The hearings will continue until January 20.

Former head of the intelligence department of Istanbul Police Ali Fuat Yılmazer will present his defense.

Speaking on behalf of friends of Hrant, Bülent Aydın said: “For 10 years, Hrant is not here and there is no justice”.

He recalled that they will gather together in front of the old Agos building, where Dink was shot, on January 19.  

Hrant Dink was shot dead on January 19, 2007, outside Istanbul’s “Agos” office.
