Weightlifter Samvel Gasparyan captured bronze in European championship

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS. The U20 and U23 European weightlifting championships are being wrapped up in Israel’s Eilat. Armenia’s Samvel Gasparyan captured lifted 150kg snatch and 196kg clean and jerk.

With a total of 346kg, Gasparyan captured bronze in the European championship.

Sona Poghosyan had earlier captured a silver medal.
