Turkey shelling kills 50 civilians in bordering Syrian city

YEREVAN, AUGUST 24, ARMENPRESS. Nearly 50 civilians have died in northern city of Syria Jarablus as a result of shelling by Turkish forces. Turkey said it launched the operation to get rid of “Islamic State” militants, “Armenpress” reports, citing TASS, a representative of the Kurdish community in northern Syria said. According to the information, there are children and women among the victims.
