Turkish MFA’s 88 employees dismissed over coup attempt

YEREVAN, JULY 28, ARMENPRESS. 88 employees of the Turkish Foreign Ministry were dismissed from their posts on suspicion of taking part in the coup attempt, Turkish FM Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said, reports TASS.

In the evening of July 16 a group of rebels have tried to commit a military coup in Turkey. The country’s leadership announced that the rebellion has been suppressed. According to the latest data, 246 people were killed, 2185 were wounded. Turkish PM Binali Yildirim announced starting from July 16 13.000 people, including policemen, judges, military officials, have been arrested. More than 45.000 state employees were dismissed.
