YEREVAN, JULY 26, ARMENPRESS. President of the National Olypmic Committee of Armenia Gagik Tsarukyan sent a welcoming speech to the Armenian Olympians, press service of the Committee informed “Armenpress”.

The speech says:

“Dear athletes and coaches,

You realize very well the importance of your victories at the Olympic Games. There is no doubt that by successful performances at Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro you will uphold sports honor of Armenia.

During our meetings you, that represent different sports events, promised to achieve maximum Olympic quotas. You kept your promise. Only the promise of getting medals and having decent performances at Rio 2016 Olympic Games remains to be kept.

Dear representatives of sports world, you have always presented your skills, had victories and promoted the recognition of our motherland.

I believe and rely on you, highly appreciate your skills, your patriotic spirit, because I know each of you personally.

I am sure you will not disappoint in Brazil. I will attentively watch your all performances. I wish you successful start and successful end at the 31st Olympic Games.
