YEREVAN, JULY 15, ARMENPRESS. The Defense Ministry of Nagorno Karabakh says a group of Azerbaijani soldiers has tried to move forward towards Akna in Nagorno Karabakh-Azerbaijani line of contact.

The Ministry’s announcement reads: “Overnight July 14-15 the Azerbaijani side made 27 ceasefire violations by firing more than 1400 shots from various caliber weapons and sniper rifles at the Armenian positions.

Except from the ceasefire violations, on July 14 at 22:45 a group of Azerbaijani soldiers made an advancement attempt towards the eastern direction (Akna) of Nagorno Karabakh-Azerbaijan line of contact.

The Defense Army forces conducted operative measures and prevented the Azerbaijani soldiers’ possible actions”.
