Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharyan responded to the announcement of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister referring to the step by step solution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. “Armenpress” was informed from MFA Armenia that to the question of News.am “How would you comment on the statement of the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan regarding the step-by-step solution of the NK issue?” Shavarsh Kocharyan answered, “The Armenian sides are not against the step-by-step solution, within the framework of which Azerbaijan should first of all recognize the independence of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, return the occupied territories of Nagorno-Karabakh and start negotiations with the NKR on the clarification of borders”.
