On December 6, 2015 the constitutional referendum was held in Armenia. The adoption of a new Constitution also implies the adoption of a new Electoral Code until June 1, 2016. The Government of the Republic of Armenia approved the new Electoral Code draft on March 3 and presented it to the National Assembly. The EC draft approved by the Government differs from the draft presented to the Venice Commission.
