YEREVAN, DECEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS. President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan together with representatives of sports attended the solemn ceremony of awarding sportsmen.  

As “Armenpress” was informed from the Department of Public relations and Mass Media of Republic of Armenia President’s Staff, the President congratulated the representatives of sports in that pre-holiday meeting which has become a tradition on the occasion of the New year and Christmas, wishing them health, new successes and achievements in the sphere of sports and personal life. Serzh Sargsyan also congratulated the recipients of honorary titles.

Speaking about the passing year of 2015 full of sporting achievements and successes, the President of the Republic attached importance to the pre-Olympic year 2015 and wished that the sportsmen of the Republic bring gold medals from Rio-2016 games to providing moments of pride to our people.
