Poroshenko and Angela Merkel discuss preparations for Normandy Format meeting

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel discussed preparations forthe Normandy Format meeting that is scheduled totake place onOctober 2 inParis, a news release onthe president’s official site said.

The meeting took place onthe sidelines ofthe 70th session ofthe UN General Assembly underway inNew York. “Armenpress” reports the aforementioned referring to Sputnik International.

“The Chancellor noted that the situation inUkraine had an important significance forthe global security,” the news release said Sunday.
