Armenia Defense Minister: Corruption risks in army appointments are eliminated

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS. Code of Conduct and anti-corruption Council adjunct to the Defense Minister of the Republic of Armenia has been created. “Armenpress” reports that the Armenian Defense Minister, Seyran Ohanyan, mentioned about this during the meeting with the students of Leadership School. Speaking about recruitment process, the Minister emphasized that major reforms have been undertaken in this sector recently. “Armenian soldier is not subject to trading. The army must serve an example for our society, we have nothing to hide from our people”, Ohanyan mentioned.

According to the Defense Minister, corruption risks in army appointments are eliminated and transparent tenders are conducted for purchases.
