Artsakh – ready to host more sports at next Pan-Armenian Games

STEPANAKERT, AUGUST 5, ARMENPRESS. Artsakh, that hosted 2 sports (volleyball, football) during the 6th Pan-Armenian Games, is ready to host a greater number of athletes and sport competitions during the next games.

“For the first time 2 sports - volleyball and football competitions -  have been held in Artsakh. The essence of the games is our unity, as well as Motherland-Artsakh-Diaspora trinity. We will once again be united thanks to these competitions and it is clear that our principle of being united is to give continuous solutions to the problems that the Armenians face. Due to the contacts between the athletes and the sports fans we will have both athletic success and an opportunity for the discussion of Pan-Armenian issues.”, said the Minister of Education, Science and sport of NKR in his interview with Armenpress.

The Minister highlighted that Artsakh is not ready to host all the sports competitions but several of them.

The 6th Pan-Armenian Games football and volleyball competition matches of 2 subdivisions were held in Stepanakert and Askeran.
