Two soldiers wounded as a result of PKK attack in Diyarbakir

YEREVAN, AUGUST 3, ARMENPRESS. The Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) designated as a terrorist party in Turkey made another attack on a military vehicle in Diyarbakir. “Armenpress” reports that the Turkish “Anadolu” agency informs about this.
The Kurdish militants threw a grenade on the military vehicle passing through Silvan as a result of which two soldiers were wounded. Wide scale operations have been launched in the region to discover the attackers.
The Kurds had launched another attack on the Turkish military on August 3. The incident took place on the Bitlis- Diyarbakir road where two armored vehicles where passing. No casualties were registered.
