YEREVAN, JULY 18, ARMENPRESS. The newly opened Double Tree by Hilton hotel will promote tourism in Armenia as well as new investments. The Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Karen Chshmaritian assured in his speech during the official opening ceremony of the international hotel DoubleTree by Hilton. “Today tourists have apparently more demands and higher taste with an expectation to receive quality service. Consequently, accepting the proposal for appropriate infrastructures in order to meet their demand becomes a must. And the policies of the President of Armenia and the Government to develop infrastructures, particularly accommodation establishments, is conditioned by this imperative”, as “Armenpress” reports, Chshmaritian stressed.

As a result of the policy carried out by the Government of Armenia 2 dozens of hotels have opened providing 1300 hotels rooms within the last 3 years.

In a country with annual increase of tourists any hotel providing quality service has an opportunity to make profits, justify investments thinking about obtaining new agreements.
