Edgar Stepanyan becomes champion of European Youth Cycling Championship

YEREVAN, JULY 18, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s representative Edgar Stepanyan became champion of Europe in Track Cycling Championship which is held in Athens, capital of Greece. As Armenpress was informed from the Cycling Federation of Armenia, both cyclists from Armenia – Edgar Stepanyan and Pavel Stepanyan - had been selected as finalists. 18-year-old Edgar stood out for his professionalism and won the winner’s title. This is the first gold medal from European Championships in the history of Armenian cycling. Pavel Stepanyan occupied the 10th position in the championship.
