YEREVAN, 27 JANUARY, ARMENPRESS. President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received today Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif.

 As the Department of Public Relations and Mass Media of the Structure to the Office of the President of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, greeting the guest and his delegation, the head of state attached importance to the high-ranking reciprocal visits that, according to him, serve as a good opportunity to discuss the agenda of Armenian-Iranian relations and the perspectives of development of cooperation. Serzh Sargsyan mentioned that he fondly recalls his visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran in 2013, his meeting with President Hasan Rohani and the agreements, adding that Armenia is willing and is interested in implementing those agreements, as well as renewing and deepening the relations with the friendly Iran.
