End of actions for Armenia's accession to EEU to be announced in Moscow

MOSCOW, 22 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. The end of actions for ratification of the agreement on Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union will be announced during the December 23 session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, after which Armenia will join the EEU starting January 2, 2015. This is what Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Yuri Ushakov announced, as RIA Novosti reports. 

“Tomorrow the Presidents of the three countries (Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan) will announce the end of actions for ratification of the agreement on Armenia’s accession to the EEU. Armenia will become a full-fledged member of the EEU on the day following the creation of the EUU, that is, January 2, 2015,” Ushakov said, as “ArmenPress” reports. Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan signed the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union in Astana on May 29, 2014.
