YEREVAN, OCTOBER 16, ARMENPRESS: The 50^th anniversary of the activity of distinguished journalist and writer Levon Azroyan was marked today at Avetiq Isahakyan Central Library. Friends, partners, heads of universities, intellectuals came to congratulate him on the anniversary. 

“Intellectual Levon Azroyan has a kind of perception of the homeland, love for his work, homeland, history and true system of values that few people have,” said Director of Armenpress News Agency Aram Ananyan about Levon Azroyan.

As Armenpress reports, Journalist Avtandil Grigoryan, TV journalist Garik Ghazaryan, TV director Hrachya Ashughyan and Director of Avetiq Isahakyan Library Hasmik Karapetyan talked about the outstanding intellectual and his activity at the event.

At the end of the meeting, presentation of a new book by Levon Azroyan – “Artsvabuyn” was held.

Levon Azoyan was born on August 28, 1937, in Tbilisi, Georgia. In 1956-1961 he studied at Tbilisi Pedagogical Institute, Department of Armenian Philology and History. In 1964-1965 Levon Azoyan was a writer of "Sovetakan Vrastan" newspaper. In 1966 he moved to Armenia and worked at the Armenian Telegraph Agency (currently – Armenpress).
