Nanjing 2014: Simon Martirosyan - champion

YEREVAN, AUGUST 23, ARMENPRESS. Armenian weightlifter Simon Martirosyan (85 kg)took the gold medal at Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games. As reports “Armenpress”, Martirosyan showed a result of 391 kg: in the "snatch" lift- 170kg, and in the "clean and jerk" lift - 221kg, in fact encountering no serious rivalry.

So far, the Armenian athletes have won 2 gold and 1 silver medals at Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games.
