For God's sake, brothers, resolve Syrian issue: Aleppo-Armenian authors’ call to Geneva II
participants

YEREVAN, JANUARY 25, ARMENPRESS. Aleppo-Armenian author and writer Kirakos Gyumjian urges the sides of the Syrian conflict and the participants of Geneva II conference to stop violence in Syria, which harms the Syrian people.

Kirakos Gyumjian, who currently lives in Kuwait, published an article in “Alnahar” and Alhayat” periodicals, which particularly, runs as follows:

“Being on the threshold of Geneva II conference, I ask all the participants of the conference and particularly the Syrian brothers to show compassion towards the sufferings of our people and put aside the meaningless and artificial evil and hatred, which has been imported from outside, and start a frank brotherly dialogue without absurd conditions and cordially wish peace for our beloved motherland and worthy people. We are hopeful that the conference will end in a full agreement, for Syria’s interests and its security, thus removing the black cloud, which is raining blood, bullets, and evil on the Syrian people every day and every hour. I cry to the people of my country in the Aleppo dialect: ‘For God's sake, brothers, resolve this issue.’” (THE FULL VERSION OF THE ARTICLE IS AVAILABLE IN ARMENIAN)
