Armrusgasprom dissatisfied with new gas tariff

YEREVAN, JUNE 7, ARMENPRESS: Armrusgasprom Closed Joint Stock Company is dissatisfied with the new gas tariff established by the Public Services Regulatory Commission of theRepublicofArmenia. This was stated on June 7 at the press conference by the General Director of Armrusgasprom Vardan Harutyunyan. “As the Director of Armrusgasprom I am dissatisfied, and as a citizen of the Republic of Armenia and a consumer I cannot complain”, - said Vardan Harutyunyan, as reported by Armenpress.

The application, submitted by the Company, includes the entire volumes of the works, necessary for the development of the Company and the current operation. The General Director of Armrusgasprom Vardan Harutyunyan stated that during the last years the Company has worked with losses. “In the current tariff the losses, which the Company has had during the previous years, have not even been presented by us. It was not taken into account and sounded by anybody”, - said Vardan Harutyunyan.

At the session held on June 7 by the Public Services Regulatory Commission of theRepublicofArmenia the new tariff for the natural gas was approved – 156,000 AMD for 1,000 cubic meters of gas. The subscribers, who use monthly 10,000 and more cubic meters of the natural gas, will pay 276,98 USD for 1,000 cubic meters of gas.

Armrusgasprom CJSC and Transgaz LLC applied to the Public Services Regulatory Commission of theRepublic ofArmenia, offering to raise the current gas tariff from AMD 132,000 to AMD 221,000.
