YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 6, ARMENPRESS. There are only 25 minutes left to end the filming of "Anahit" full-length animated cartoon. It has already been 2 years since on the order of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia “Robert Sahakyants Production” studio is filming the medieval tale about Anahit. It will take more than a year to finish filming those 25 minutes.

In a conversation with "Armenpress" the co-author of "Anahit" cartoon Davit Sahakyants stated that the end of filming the cartoon depends upon the financing provided the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia, which is enough for filming only 20 minutes per year.

Among other things Davit Sahakyants noted: “It will be possible to finish filming “Anahit” animated film sooner only in case of the additional financing. If not the filming will be over only in 2014.”

In the first stage of filming Hayastan All Armenian Fund assisted the company to record two songs; another song was recorded due to the support of "Sharm Holding". Presently "Luys" Foundation is supports the filming procedure.

The filming of the tale "Anahit" by Ghazaros Aghayan launched two years ago. Sahakyants said that the cartoon will be a new full-length tale, which will preserve the peculiarities of both foreign and national animation in a new interpretation. The duration of this full-length cartoon will be 1 hour 25 minutes. After the filming is over "Anahit", which is shot in accordance with the "Disney" standards, will be introduced in a row of prominent international festivals.
