YEREVAN, JANUARY 18, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Ambassador to Canada Armen Yeganyan met January 16 with Canadian Minister of Citizenship and Immigration Jason Kenney. The interlocutors discussed different aspects of Armenian-Canadian relations, referred to the positive role of the Canadian-Armenian community in interstate relations, press service of Armenian Foreign Affairs Ministry told Armenpress.

With Minister Jason Kenney's inquiry, the Armenian Ambassador presented Armenia's position on regional issues, the process of the talks over NK issue, and the current economic situation of Armenia.

Minister James Kenney expressed his respect toward the Canadian-Armenian community, Armenian people and their cultural heritage in general.
