Armenian Taekwondo Federation intends to conduct a big international tournament in Armenia

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 15, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Taekwondo Federation intends to conduct in near future a big international tournament in Armenia. Deputy Executive Director of the federation Vardan Ghahramanyan told Armenpress that this idea originated after the Armenian taekwondoists established close ties with international, European and national federations of taekwondo. According to him, the Armenian athletes have won medals in world and European championships, in games of the countries of the Black Sea region, the Armenian Taekwondo Federation has already gained a plenty of experience for organization of such a tournament.

“It is high time to conduct international tournaments, and the proposal of the Armenian Taekwondo Federation on conducting a high class international tournament is quite logical,” Mr. Ghahramanyan said.
