ARMENIAN LANGUAGE AND CULTURE CENTER OPENS IN PYATIGORSK LINGUISTIC UNIVERSITY

YEREVAN, MARCH 26, ARMENPRESS:Armenian language and culture center opened today in the Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University. A delegation from the Yerevan Bryusov State Linguistic University headed by rector Suren Zolian participated in the event. International journalism coordinator of the Bryusov university Ashot Gareginian told Armenpress that within the framework of the visit the two rectors will discuss a number of issues on cooperation in carrying out educational programs. Rector of Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University Alexander Garbunov noted that the Armenian center will first of all have a familiarizing mission promoting studying Armenian in the region. Armenian ambassador to Russia Armen Smbatian also participated in the opening of the center. On March 27 the rectors of the two universities will sign cooperation agreement.
