NATO’S INFORMATION CENTER TO FUNCTION IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 11, ARMENPRESS:NATO’s Information Center, aimed at providing full information about the activity of NATO, started functioning today in Armenia. Robert Simmons, the special representative of NATO secretary general in Central Asia and South Caucasus, said that the center symbolizes the relations between Armenia and NATO which have developed dynamically during the recent years. He thanked the Armenian government for the support in the opening of the center. “The involvement of the Armenian government in the opening of the center shows its devotion to NATO,” Simmons said. Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakosian expressed hope that the center will promote the increase of the level of awareness of public about the activity of NATO.
