MIDLAND RESOURCES COMPANY TO PRIVATIZE ARMENIAN ELECTRIC POWER STATIONS

YEREVAN, AUGUST 26, ARMENPRESS:An agreement on purchase of shares of Armenian Electric Power Stations CS company was signed today between Armenian government and Midland Resources Holding LTD. Armenian side was represented by minister for energy Armen Movsissian, minister for finance and economy Vardan Khachatrian, minister for state property governing David Vardanian and Armenian justice minister David Harutyunian. From the side of Midland Resources Holding LTD. the agreement was signed by its director Andrey Zavrazhnov. Earlier, during a special session of Armenian government a draft bill on privatization of Armenian Power Station CS company was approved. During the session Armenian justice minister Mr.Harutyunian presented the alterations made in the agreement after the competition on purchase. Armenian government approved that Midland Resources company won the competition.-0-/45/
