YEREVAN, AUGUST 4, ARMENPRESS. Ambassador-at-Large Edmon Marukyan has said that there is a chance to prevent the total ethnic cleansing of Nagorno-Karabakh.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with Euronews “to win the war was the mission of my life, of my political life.” Aliyev’s remarks received a strong reaction also by the deputy foreign minister of Armenia. The latter said that Aliyev’s statement clearly demonstrates how impunity gives green-light for new atrocity crimes, and called for international action.
