YEREVAN, JANUARY 16, ARMENPRESS. The National Security Service (NSS) has introduced a bill on amending the Law on State Secret whereby officials having security clearance of accessing classified and top secret information will be required to notify the National Security Service upon leaving the country on private visits.

The law will also specify the definition of the terms regulating the classified information, NSS Deputy Director Tigran Harutyunyan told lawmakers.

Furthermore, the bill also sets stricter criminal accountability for the disclosure of classified information constituting state secret without authorization.
