Secretary of Security Council presents the situation over Lachin Corridor to Finnish officials

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS. On December 14, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan, who is in the Republic of Finland on a working visit, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Finland Pekka Haavisto, the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Finland Juho Eerola and the head of the Finland-Armenia inter-parliamentary friendship group Vilhelm Junnila.

As ARMENPRESS was informed from the office of the Security Council, during the meetings, Armen Grigoryan presented Azerbaijan's blocking of unhindered movement through the Lachin Corridor, as well as the gas supply to Nagorno Karabakh and the resulting food and humanitarian crisis. Secretary Grigoryan called on the interlocutors to come up with appropriate assessments of Azerbaijan's actions.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland, Mr. Pekka Haavisto, expressed his country's readiness to support the overcoming of the conflict in the region, including within the framework of the OSCE.

The participants also referred to the development of Armenian-Finnish relations.
