Armenian, Lithuanian general prosecutions to intensify cooperation

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS. Deputy Prosecutor General of Armenia Anahit Manasyan met on November 24 with Prosecutor General of Lithuania Nida Grunskienėdiscussing a broad range of issues of bilateral interest, the Office of the Prosecutor General of Armenia said in a news release.

The meeting was also attended by Armenia’s Ambassador to Lithuania Hovhannes Igityan.

The sides discussed the prospects of holding joint trainings and events aimed at constantly strengthening education and integrity of the prosecutors of the two countries in a number of directions.

Anahit Manasyan said that the Office of the Prosecutor General of Armenia has launched the process of the development strategy of the structure, highlighting the Lithuanian experience in this respect.

Prosecution-media, Prosecution-public communication issues and the cooperation opportunities in these directions were also touched upon.

At the end of the meeting both sides expressed readiness to make necessary efforts for close cooperation.
