Two years after the war NK conflict still remains unresolved – Armenian FM

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS. Two years after the war unleashed by Azerbaijan against Nagorno Karabakh, the Nagorno Karabakh conflict remains unresolved as the issues on the basis of the conflict have not been settled. The Armenian side reaffirms its commitment to establish peace and stability in the region through peaceful negotiations, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said during a joint press conference with his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias in Yerevan.

During their meeting in Yerevan the Armenian and Greek Foreign Ministers discussed, among many other issues, the peaceful settlement process of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. FM Mirzoyan reminded that two years ago on this day Azerbaijan launched a large-scale aggression against Nagorno Karabakh and its people.

“Today, after two years, the issue still remains unresolved as the issues on the basis on the conflict have not been settled. I want to emphasize once again that we, as a responsible member of the international community, reject the approach of solving issues with the use of force or the threat of using force and reaffirm our commitment to establish peace and stability in the region through peaceful negotiations”, the FM stated.
