Armenia, Artsakh slam Azerbaijani allegations over strikes against Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan pipeline

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 6, ARMENPRESS. Officials in Yerevan and Stepanakert strongly slam the recent statements of Azerbaijan on alleged strike against Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan pipeline.

Shushan Stepanyan, spokesperson of the MoD Armenia, denied the information speaking with ARMENPRESS.

Spokesperson of Artsakh's President Vahram Poghosyan also strongly denied the information that allegedly the Defense Army has carried out operations against Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan pipeline, saying that the Defense Army never targets non-military objects. ’’We only target military objects, but Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan pipeline is not a military object’’, Poghosyan said, emphasizing that it’s a false information, by which Azerbaijan is trying to mislead the international community.

Shushan Stepanyan later added that any military objects or fire positions from where fire will be carried out, will be destroyed irrespective of the location.

In the last few days Azerbaijan has been massively and deliberately striking cities of Artsakh, particularly capital Stepanakert.
