Activeness observed in NK conflict settlement process, says CSTO Chief of Joint Staff
YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 24, ARMENPRES. Colonel General Anatoly Sidorov, the Chief of the Joint Staff of the CSTO, says he sees activeness in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process.
Speaking at a news conference today he said that the unresolved conflict, however, creates a security threat for CSTO countries.
“One of the security threats of CSTO member states in the Caucasian region is the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. The political processes of settlement have activated due to the efforts of the conflicting parties and international mediators,” Sidorov said.
However, he noted that there is still lot to be done for a complete ceasefire.
