Never again: Pashinyan on Sumgait massacres
YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 27, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan posted a note on Twitter on February 27 on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the Sumgait massacres, reports Armenpress.
“On February 27, 1988 hundreds of Armenians were killed and deported from Azerbaijan, which was a response to the peaceful demonstrations of Nagorno Karabakh Armenians to protect their right of self-determination. Today we commemorate the victims of the Sumgait massacre. Never again!”, Pashinyan tweeted.
