Winners of Armenian chess championship named
YEREVAN, JANUARY 20, ARMENPRESS. Arman Pashikyan has once again captured the title of Chess Champion of Armenia ten years after his first title.
In the 79th Chess Championship of Armenia, Pashikyan won 4 games, and finished the others in draws, gaining 6,5 points.
He won the championship in 2009 also.
Earlier in 2006, Pashikyan won the silver medal.
In the women’s championship, Maria Gevorgyan was crowned champion. This is the third championship title of Gevorgyan.
