Fatal poisoning kills at least 30 in Irkutsk
YEREVAN, DECEMBER 19, ARMENPRESS. At least 30 people were killed of poisoning after consuming a concentrate called Boyaryshnik (Hawthorn) containing alcohol in East Siberia’s Irkutsk, TASS reports.
“At this moment 42 people are hospitalized, from whom 30 are dead. The remaining 12 are in serious condition”, the Russian Investigative Committee’s local investigation department representative said.
All the victims are the residents of one neighborhood Novo-Lenino.
Criminal case has been filed.
