YEREVAN, OCTOBER 20, ARMENPRESS. Tensions between Israelis and Palestinians have reached a fever pitch in recent days, but one restaurant is doing its part to bridge the gap. The Hummus Bar, located in a small town in central Israel, is offering a special deal: a 50 percent discount to Arabs and Jews who sit together in the restaurant. “Armenpress” reports the aforesaid citing International Business Times‎.

Kobi Tzafrir, the manager of the restaurant in Kfar Vitkin, told the Times that he’s served several sets of Arabs and Jews at the same tables since Hummus Bar first started advertising the deal.

“If there’s anything that can bring together these peoples, it’s hummus,” Tzafrir said of the creamy dip made of chickpeas, olive oil and tahini.
