GYUMRI, JUNE 15, ARMENPRESS. There is already a suspect in connection with the case of the killing of the Russian soldier. He is being interrogated in the Russian military base 102.

Deputy Commander of the military base Aleksei Polyukhovich told the aforesaid to the reporter of Armenpress who is currently in the crime site, where the corpse of the Russian soldier was found. “We have no demands from the Armenian side,” Polyukhovich said.

It was found out in the site of the incident that both the victim and the suspect are contract military servicemen born in 1995.

The dead soldier is Ivan Sergey Novikov born in Krasnoyarsk on May 21, 1995. He was found with abdominal wounds caused by a sharp instrument. There were personal objects next to the corpse: a cell phone and watch. A criminal case has been filed in regard to this case.
