Armenia expects to launch negotiations with the EU over visa liberalization
YEREVAN, 27 MAY, ARMENPRESS. Armenia expects to launch negotiations with the European Union over the liberalization of visas. This is what Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Karen Nazaryanmentioned at the National Assembly.
“In regard to the deepening of cooperation with the European Union, Armenia also attaches importance to active contacts between people. You know that the Armenian government has already taken a decision, according to which the nationals of EU member states and countries applying the provisions of the Schengen Agreement can visit Armenia without an entry visa. Armenia will soon launch negotiations with the European Union so that citizens of Armenia are also able to travel to EU member states without entry visas,” Nazaryan emphasized, as “Armenpress” reports.
