BUENOS AIRES, 28 MARCH, ARMENPRESS. While Turkish Ambassador to Argentina Taner Karakas was giving a speech on “Turkey’s Foreign Policy in 2015” at a conference in Argentina, members of the Armenian Youth Association of South America distributed flyers presenting the real image of Turkey’s foreign policy to the participants of the conference. As “Armenpress” reports, citing PrensaArmenia, on the flyers the youth had written that the Turkish-Azerbaijani lobby continues to spread false propaganda and that the Turkish Ambassador was presenting false information about Turkey’s current foreign policy.

The youth provided details about the protest held at Taksim Square in 2013 and emphasized that 11 demonstrators were killed, 8,000 people were injured and another 3,000 were arrested. The young Argentinean-Armenians reminded that Turkey closed the border with Armenia because of a third country and declared that it would open the border only when the Armenians give up their right for international recognition of the Armenian Genocide and make unilateral concessions with regard to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
