Israeli genocide expert excited about Karabakh people’s endurance
YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 25, ARMENPRESS: Non-recognition of the genocides is unacceptable, as it may bring to implementation of new genocides. Armenpress reports that the famous Israeli scientist, associate professor of the Open University of Israel Yair Auron expressed such an opinion at the American University of Armenia during a public lecture. Auron has recently returned from the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.
At the beginning of the lecture the historian presented his impressions about his visit to Karabakh. “I am excited about the people of Artsakh. I visited Karabakh for the first time this year. I thought I would see poor, angry and desperate people there. Though, notwithstanding the hard conditions, the local population has never succumbed and do not want to leave the country for other places, where they can live in peace and security, and want to stay home at any cost. They are modest and determined. Now I love them more”, - said Yair Auron.
