Ambassador Karen Grigoryan meets with Iraq's Minister of Transport
YEREVAN, 24 FEBRUARY, ARMENPRESS. On February 23, RA Ambassador to Iraq Karen Grigoryan had a meeting with Minister of Transport of Iraq Baqir Jabr al-Zubeidi. As the Department of Press, information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, during the meeting, the sides discussed the perspectives of cooperation between Armenia and Iraq in the sphere of transport. The interlocutors emphasized the importance of starting direct flights between Baghdad and Yerevan. Ambassador Grigoryan mentioned that the direct flights will highly contribute to the development of tourism in both countries and to the expansion of business relations.
