Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Romania meet in Munich
YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 8, ARMENPRESS. The Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who is paying a working visit to Munich, met his Romanian counterpart Bogdan Lucian Aurescu.
The Press, Information, and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia informed “Armenpress” that during the meeting, thoughts were exchanged over the steps to activate bilateral relations. In this context, promotion of inter-parliamentary ties, trade and economic cooperation, expansion of decentralized and cultural collaboration were highlighted.
Ministers touched upon the work of the Armenian-Romanian Inter-Governmental Committee, the next session of which is scheduled to be held in Bucharest in the second half of the year.
Minister Aurescu commended the role of the Armenian community in the political, economic and cultural development of Romania.
Ministers Nalbandian and Aurescu discussed Armenia-European Union relations.
Minister Aurescu invited Edward Nalbandian to visit Bucharest.
