Uruguayan Vice-President says Uruguay might recognize NKR independence
YEREVAN, 8 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. Uruguay is making efforts to recognize the independence of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. This is what Vice-President of Uruguay, President of the Senate of Uruguay Danilo Astori announced during a press conference at the National Assembly as he responded to the question of whether Uruguay would become the first country to recognize the independence of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic or not.
“Uruguay is working on that, but I would like to mention the fact that the Uruguayan government wants to maintain good relations with all the parties, particularly the parties involved in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,” Astori emphasized.
