As reports “Armenpress”, on August 4, the French Foreign Ministry issued a statement urging the parties to respect the ceasefire regime and take immediate measures to reduce the tension and avoid new incidents. "France is concerned about the increase of bloody incidents on the Nagorno-Karabakh line of contact and the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border, which caused numerous deaths in the recent days. The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict can be resolved only through negotiations. France urges the sides to respect the ceasefire regime and take immediate measures to reduce the tension and avoid new incidents,” reads the statement.
